Authorities said the launch reflects Zimbabwe’s ambition to shift from being a consumer of foreign technologies to becoming a creator of locally driven innovation. The country’s recently unveiled National Artificial Intelligence Strategy focuses on infrastructure development, digital skills, ethical governance, research, and sector-wide AI adoption.
