The UAE Cyber Security Council has partnered with Cisco and Open Innovation AI to launch a National AI Test and Validation Lab aimed at ensuring artificial intelligence systems meet strict standards for safety, security, and regulatory compliance. The new facility is designed to evaluate AI models, agents, and applications before deployment across government and private sector services. It will test systems for vulnerabilities such as data leaks, prompt injection attacks, and misuse risks, while also assessing compliance with international frameworks including ISO and NIST AI standards. AI systems that pass evaluation will receive a national certification mark confirming they meet UAE security and trust requirements.
