Higgsfield AI has unveiled The Cully Hill Boys, a 110 minute comedy action film that the company describes as the world’s first fully AI generated feature film. The movie features AI versions of MMA star Israel Adesanya, former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, livestream creator N3on and streetball creator Matt “MK” Kiatipis. The project was completed in only four weeks by a 28 person creative team, including nine directors led by Aitore Zholdaskali and Adilet Abish. Around 40% of the team reportedly had no previous AI experience. During production, the team created nearly 1,000 assets and 100 AI generated locations. The film had a reported production cost of $2 million and follows three East London rappers who become caught between rival organised crime groups after discovering millions of pounds aboard a boat. The project highlights how generative AI could reduce production timelines and costs while creating new opportunities for filmmakers, creators and other creative professionals.
