The Republic of Congo has strengthened its partnership with the Russian Federation through high-level talks focused on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, education, and innovation. The meeting, held between Minister Léon Juste Ibombo and a Russian delegation, emphasized expanding cooperation in developing digital infrastructure and training programs. A major focus was the African Center for Research in Artificial Intelligence (CARIA), a flagship initiative designed to advance AI education and research capacity in the country. Russia has committed financial support for the project’s next phases through a development-focused funding mechanism involving Sberbank.
