The Palau Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is expanding responsible artificial intelligence training to help strengthen local businesses and public institutions through improved digital skills and safer technology use. The initiative aims to support workforce development, enhance operational efficiency, and build long-term resilience across government and private sector organisations. During recent workshops held in Koror and Airai, participants from organisations including the Palau Red Cross Society and small businesses were trained in practical AI applications such as communication, workflow management, marketing, and administrative tasks. The sessions also emphasised ethical AI use, data security, and responsible adoption practices.
