Dubai has launched a major two-year transformation programme aimed at accelerating the adoption of Agentic AI across the private sector, strengthening its position as a global leader in advanced technology. Announced under the guidance of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the initiative focuses on integrating self-executing artificial intelligence systems into business operations to improve efficiency, productivity, and decision-making. The programme includes specialised training tracks for business councils under the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ensuring companies of all sizes can adapt to AI-driven workflows. It also introduces plans to establish dedicated incubators for Agentic AI startups, along with funding support to encourage innovation and create new economic opportunities for young professionals. Officials said the transformation aims to reduce operational costs, enhance service delivery, and reshape Dubai’s commercial landscape by embedding intelligent automation across key sectors, making the city a global benchmark for AI-powered economic growth and future-ready business ecosystems.
