Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence platform has reached 1 billion monthly active users, making it the fastest-growing product in the company’s history. Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced the milestone, highlighting the rapid adoption of Gemini across its standalone application and web interface. The company has delayed the expected release of Gemini 3.5 Pro, while reports indicate concerns over its coding performance compared with competing models. Despite its massive user base and strong Android distribution, Google may need faster model development to maintain Gemini’s momentum.
