In Rwanda, the Ministry of ICT and Innovation has launched targeted training for chief digital officers across government agencies to strengthen artificial intelligence capacity within the public sector. The initiative is part of a broader national push to move AI adoption beyond pilot projects into practical, large-scale government use. The training session focused on emerging technologies such as generative AI and explored how they can be applied to real administrative and service delivery challenges. Participants were also introduced to implementation strategies and governance frameworks designed to ensure responsible and ethical use of AI in public institutions.
