Speaking alongside Boardy AI founder Andrew D’Souza, she argued that hiring should not be outsourced but treated as a core “talent engine” that early-stage companies must actively develop. Kaizer explained that in an AI-driven job market, traditional signals like resumes are becoming less reliable, with learning ability, curiosity, and adaptability now emerging as the most important traits for new hires. She encouraged founders to use real-world problem solving and AI-based tasks during interviews to better evaluate candidates, rather than relying on conventional question-and-answer formats. Kaizer also noted that AI tools are already transforming recruitment workflows, but human judgment remains essential for identifying strong talent and making final decisions. Her message highlighted a broader shift in the tech industry: as AI accelerates change, companies that succeed will be those that build better systems for finding, evaluating, and retaining people who can learn and adapt quickly.
