Azerbaijan is set to advance its digital transformation strategy through a new partnership with American AI company Haimaker.AI Inc.. The collaboration will be formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing a next-generation digital platform and broader AI-driven ecosystem in Azerbaijan, according to the United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce. The agreement is expected to be signed during the Chamber’s 30th anniversary event in Washington, D.C., by Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev and Haimaker.AI CEO Su Le. The initiative aligns with Azerbaijan’s Digital Economy Development Strategy for 2026–2029, which focuses on accelerating business digitalization and expanding innovation-driven economic growth. A key goal of the strategy is to generate significant added value through generative AI solutions, with a projected target of 70 million manats in economic output. The partnership also reflects Azerbaijan’s broader ambition to modernize its digital infrastructure, strengthen international cooperation, and integrate advanced AI technologies into its national economy.
