Morocco Targets $10 Billion AI Contribution to GDP

Morocco is seeking to significantly expand its artificial-intelligence economy, with policymakers estimating that AI could contribute approximately $10 billion to national GDP by 2030. Government officials believe artificial intelligence could drive productivity improvements in sectors such as logistics, energy, manufacturing and agriculture. Morocco has been investing in digital infrastructure, technology training programs and research partnerships in order to support the growth of AI startups and technology companies. The country’s geographic position and growing digital economy have already attracted international technology investment.
