This report explores an AI-facilitated youth consultation conducted in Yemen aimed at improving inclusion in peacebuilding processes under conditions of conflict, fragmentation, and limited safe physical access. The initiative used a WhatsApp-based chatbot combined with AI-powered qualitative analysis to gather and interpret youth perspectives at scale. In a context where traditional in-person consultations are difficult or unsafe, this digital method allowed broader participation across diverse and geographically separated communities. The findings show that Yemeni youth generally support an existing political vision for the country, but there are significant divisions regarding reconciliation approaches, the role of international actors, and whether democracy or stability should be prioritized first. Beyond the results themselves, the study highlights how AI tools can help expand civic engagement, especially in fragile environments.
