During his tour of the institute, he was briefed on Ethiopia’s ongoing work in AI development and commended the young professionals involved, describing their skills and creativity as vital to the continent’s progress. The president emphasized that stronger cooperation and knowledge-sharing between African nations will be essential to accelerating technological growth and achieving shared prosperity. His visit also included discussions with Ethiopian officials and participation in the signing of cooperation agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral relations across multiple sectors, reflecting a broader push to deepen regional collaboration in science, technology, and innovation.
